The operation of a screwdriver
When you need to screw parts together, then a hand screwdriver is not always the most convenient solution. Especially if you have a piece of work which needs a lot of screws, this can be a tiring job. A screwdriver offers a solution. With a screwdriver, you can easily turn screws in your workpiece. A screwdriver works on electricity. There is a battery in it which you can recharge separately from the machine. Then you clamp the charged battery to the screwdriver, and you can get to work. Many brands supply two batteries, so you can put one in the machine and the other in the charger. This way, you never have to interrupt your work because the battery is empty.
What options are out there?
Many screwdrivers are a combination of a drill and screwdriver. By replacing the bit, you can choose the type of screw or type of drill. The bit is fixed in the drill chuck, which in turn contains a bit holder. The screwdriver is designed in such a way that you can mount the different types of screws on it without tools. On the back of the drill head is the so-called slip coupling with numbers on it. Here you can set the amount of force to which the screw should be tightened. This depends on the size of the screw, the hardness of the surface and the hardness of the part to be fixed. The slip clutch can be set in such a way that it does not slide during coupling.
