With the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), you can already combine over 140 machines in the 18-volt class from different manufacturers without any problems. The CAS is a cross-manufacturer battery system from leading manufacturers of power tools. The CAS consists of various partners who have set themselves one goal as an alliance: In the future, professionals should be able to use power tools from different manufacturers completely cordless, i.e. independently of the mains socket. In order to achieve this goal, the world's most powerful battery system from Metabo is used, with the focus on 18V. This is very important for professionals because the technology covers a power range from 400 to 3,200 watts. At the moment, Metabo, Mafell, Rothenberger, Collomix, Eibenstock, Eisenblätter, Haaga, Starmix, Steinel, Rokamat, Birchmeier, Edding, Fischer, Baier, and Lamello belong to the group. It is expected that other manufacturers will join in the future.

Metabo Warranty
Metabo offers an additional manufacturer's warranty in addition to the 2-year warranty. With the Metabo XXL warranty, you get an extra year of warranty after registering your Metabo tool. Make sure you register each tool individually and register with Metabo within 30 days of purchasing the product(s). If the machine, battery or charger is not registered within 30 days, the extra year of manufacturer's warranty will expire.
