Terms and Conditions for Festool and Toolnation Warranty

What warranty can you expect on a Festool product? You get the statutory 2-year warranty, the additional Festool manufacturer's warranty, and an extra 2-year warranty from Toolnation when you purchase Festool tools and register your purchase. In short, you can enjoy a 5-year warranty on your purchase!

What Does the Festool Manufacturer's Warranty Include?

• The Festool All-Inclusive Warranty is a comprehensive 3-year manufacturer's warranty. It covers not only material and manufacturing defects but also wear parts, such as battery packs, carbon brushes, ball bearings, sealing rings, and switches.
• Additionally, spare parts are guaranteed for 10 years. The Festool All-Inclusive warranty also offers 36 months of insurance against theft: if your machine is stolen, you can get a new one for €100. The warranty of your stolen machine continues for your new one.

What Does the 2-Year Extra Toolnation Warranty on Festool Mean?

At Toolnation, you'll receive a total of 5 years of warranty on Festool power tools. In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, you will receive a 2-year Toolnation warranty after registering your purchase. The statutory warranty is 2 years. After registration with the manufacturer, you can extend the guarantee by 1 year, depending on the brand or product. You will receive an additional two years of guarantee from Toolnation on top of this.

Conditions to Benefit from this Guarantee:

• For the two additional years of Toolnation warranty, the same warranty terms apply as those from the supplier.
• The Toolnation warranty does not apply to products or product groups excluded by the manufacturer for an extended warranty period.
• Therefore, if you cannot register a Festool product with the manufacturer for an extended warranty, the additional Toolnation warranty does not apply.

What Do You Need to Do for the Festool Warranty and the Additional Toolnation Warranty?

Within 4 weeks of your purchase, please register your machine, battery, or charger. You will then receive a warranty and service certificate as a PDF document.

Important Notes:

• Remember to register each device separately.
• Failure to register the machine, battery, or charger within 30 days will void the manufacturer's and Toolnation's additional warranty.
• The additional warranty applies to purchases of the listed brands from 01-09-2018.
