The usefulness of the Sandblasting Cabinet
The sand blasting cabin is for the specialist who wants to have materials cleaned daily for the purpose of applying a coating or a vulnerable paint. Oxide sensitive materials are ideally suited for treatment by sandblasting. From an aesthetic point of view, sandblasting also offers great added value since the final finish of a product with a coating or lacquer adheres better, which is also visible to the naked eye. Thus, precious jewellery that has been tarnished is made as good as new by sandblasting.
The objects that are suitable for the larger sandblast cabinets can be indicated with the following rule: 12-inch rims are suitable for the cabinets with a capacity of 220 litres and 16-inch rims for a cabin with a capacity of 420 litres. Objects with a diameter like that of 18-inch rims are best sandblasted in cabins with a capacity of 990 litres.
