Warranty Terms for Panasonic Powertools and Toolnation

When you purchase a Panasonic device through Toolnation, you benefit from extensive warranty terms. In addition to the legal warranty for consumers (2 years in the Netherlands), Panasonic provides a standard 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on power tools. After correct registration within 30 days via panasonic-powertools.eu, this manufacturer’s warranty is extended to:

• 3 years on lithium-ion machines
• 2 years on lithium-ion batteries and chargers

Toolnation adds an additional 2 years of extended warranty, provided that the registration with Panasonic is completed correctly and within the deadline. This gives you a total warranty period of up to 5 years.

What does the Panasonic manufacturer’s warranty cover?

The standard Panasonic warranty is 1 year from the date of purchase. If the product is registered within 30 days of purchase, the warranty is extended to 3 years for lithium-ion machines and 2 years for lithium-ion batteries and chargers. The extended warranty only applies to products correctly registered by the original purchaser. Registration must be completed via panasonic-powertools.eu. For any warranty claim, you must present the original purchase receipt and the warranty certificate showing the date of purchase.

The Panasonic warranty covers only defects caused by manufacturing or material faults. Repair or replacement is at the discretion of Panasonic. Replaced parts or products become the property of Panasonic.

What does the additional 2-year Toolnation warranty include?

If the registration with Panasonic is completed within 30 days, you will receive an additional 2-year warranty from Toolnation on top of the manufacturer’s warranty. This applies to purchases made from 01/09/2018 onwards, unless the product is excluded by the manufacturer.

Please note:

• Registration with Panasonic is required within 30 days of purchase.
• The additional Toolnation warranty also requires registration within 30 days.
• Each device, including battery and charger, must be registered separately.
• For a warranty claim, the original proof of purchase and Panasonic warranty certificate must be presented.
• The additional Toolnation warranty does not apply to pressure washers, petrol-powered machines, or air tools.
