The advantages of a Wet Vacuum

A wet vacuum cleaner (also called all-purpose cleaner, multi vacuum cleaner or wet and dry vacuum cleaner) has many advantages. The first advantage is of course that it is much more powerful than a normal vacuum cleaner. This not only allows you to suck up liquids, it also ensures that coarser dirt can be sucked up. This means that it can stand up to more use, which is very handy on a building site, for example. There are also various types with extra possibilities. Electrical equipment can be connected to the multi vacuum cleaner. This gives you the possibility, for example, to run it simultaneously with a sanding machine. It can also have a blowing function. This gives you the possibility, for example, to remove leaves from the gutter.

Differences of wet vacuums compared to normal vacuums

Because the wet vacuum is much more powerful than an ordinary vacuum cleaner, it also has a number of differences in use. First of all, you get different nozzles. This is important because the nozzles have to be used for different purposes. For instance, there are brushes that can be used for hard floors and rubber nozzles to remove liquids. Please note that the nozzles are less flexible than in an ordinary hoover. In addition, the wet vacuum has a motor filter. This ensures that the motor is not damaged by small dust particles. There is also a filter for dirt and water. In some cases, the device contains two of these filters to separate the water from the dirt. When you have sucked up water, for instance, it is wise to take out the filter and let it dry. This will prevent mould from forming in the device and will increase its lifespan considerably!
