Warranty Terms from Metabo and Toolnation

When you purchase a Metabo device through Toolnation, you benefit from extensive warranty terms. In addition to the statutory consumer warranty (2 years in the Netherlands), Metabo offers a 3-year manufacturer's warranty on many devices – provided you register the product within 4 weeks of purchase via metabo-service.com. Toolnation extends this warranty by an additional 2 years, on the condition that the device is correctly registered with the manufacturer within 30 days.

What does the 3-year Metabo XXL warranty include?

After registration, Metabo provides a 3-year warranty on machines and batteries, with no limitation on the number of charging cycles. Additionally, Metabo offers a 10-year warranty against corrosion of the compressed air tank on compressors.

What does the additional 2-year Toolnation warranty include?

If registration with Metabo is fully completed within 30 days of purchase, Toolnation extends the warranty period by another 2 years. This additional warranty applies exclusively to purchases made from Toolnation as of 01-09-2018, provided the product is not excluded by the manufacturer.

Please note:

  • The Metabo XXL warranty is only valid if the product is registered within 4 weeks of purchase.
  • The additional Toolnation warranty requires registration within 30 days of purchase.
  • Each device must be registered individually.
  • In case of a warranty claim, both the warranty certificate and the original proof of purchase must be provided.
  • The additional Toolnation warranty does not apply to high-pressure cleaners, combustion engine machines, or pneumatic tools.
