In addition to the standard statutory warranty, HiKOKI extends an extra manufacturer's warranty. When you purchase HiKOKI tools through Toolnation and subsequently register your purchase, you will automatically become eligible for an additional two-year warranty courtesy of Toolnation. This means your total warranty coverage can extend up to five years.

What does the HiKOKI manufacturer's warranty entail?

The HiKOKI manufacturer's warranty provides a three-year coverage for machines, in addition to the standard two-year legal warranty. Furthermore, by registering your purchase directly with the manufacturer, you may be able to extend the warranty by an additional year, depending on the brand or product in question.

What are the specifics of the Extra 2-Year Toolnation Warranty?

When purchasing HiKOKI power tools through Toolnation, you benefit from an overall five-year warranty. This includes the manufacturer's warranty and an additional two-year Toolnation warranty, which is activated upon successful registration of your purchase.

Conditions:

• If you are unable to register a Hitachi/HiKoki product with the manufacturer for an extended warranty, the supplementary Toolnation warranty will not be applicable.
• Please note that the Toolnation warranty does not apply to products or product categories excluded by the manufacturer from extended warranty eligibility.
• For the two additional years of Toolnation warranty, the same terms and conditions as those provided by the supplier will be enforced.
• It's important to be aware that the extra two-year Toolnation warranty is not valid for high-pressure cleaners, machinery equipped with combustion engines, and air tools.

How to Obtain HiKOKI Warranty and Extra Toolnation Warranty

After you have made a purchase of a HiKOKI or Hitachi product from Toolnation, please follow these steps to ensure you benefit from the HiKOKI warranty and the supplementary Toolnation warranty:

1. Register Your Purchase: Visit the HiKOKI website within four weeks of your purchase and complete the registration process for your machine, battery, or charger.
2. Receive Warranty and Service Certificate: Upon successful registration, you will promptly receive a PDF document containing your warranty and service certificate.

Important Notes:

• The additional warranty coverage applies to purchases of the specified brands made on or after September 1, 2018.
• Failure to register your machine, battery, or charger within 30 days of purchase will result in the forfeiture of your entitlement to the extended warranty provided by both the manufacturer and Toolnation.
• Please be aware that each individual device must be registered separately to qualify for warranty extensions.
