Shipping and collection

Standard shipping

Orders from Toolnation are shipped via several premium carriers, with the carrier selected based on the package size, weight, and destination country. Once your order is processed in our warehouse, you will automatically receive an email confirmation, along with a summary of the delivery. Please note that no paper packing slip is included with the order; refer to the shipping confirmation for an overview of the items delivered.

Self collection at a DHL/DPD Pickup Point

Pick up your order easily at a DHL/DPD Pickup Point. Thanks to our partnership with DHL and DPD, we offer reliable delivery to a location of your choice. With an extensive network of pickup locations nationwide, you can collect your package at your convenience, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

During checkout, simply select the Pickup Point option, choose your preferred location, and your order will be delivered there. Don’t forget to bring valid identification when picking up your package. Please note that the holding time for packages at the pickup point may vary depending on the country.

How it works

  1. Enter your address and zip code on the checkout page.
  2. Choose "Pickup Point" under Shipment Methods.
  3. Click on “Pickup Points”.
  4. Select your preferred pickup point from the options available in your area.
  5. Confirm your choice by clicking "Confirm Pickup Location".
 

Your order will then be shipped to your selected pickup point.

Important to know:

Not all products are eligible for delivery to a pickup point due to size restrictions. The shipment must meet the following criteria:

  • The package weighs a maximum of 20 kg.
  • The longest side of the package is no more than 100 cm.
  • The circumference of the package is less than 250 cm, calculated as: L + 2 x W + 2 x H.
 

Please note: Delivery to pickup points is not available in the following countries: Norway (NO), Switzerland (CH), Serbia (RS), Iceland (IS), Liechtenstein (LI), and Monaco (MC).


Shipping costs within the Netherlands and Belgium:

  • Shipping costs are automatically calculated once your address details are fully completed.
  • For products with exceptional weight, size, or special handling requirements (such as lawnmowers and table saws), additional surcharges may apply, such as length freight or (mini-)pallet costs. These surcharges will be displayed separately during checkout.

Shipping costs within the EU (excluding the Netherlands and Belgium):

  • The shipping costs for shipments within Europe are automatically calculated once your address details are fully completed.
  • For products with exceptional weight, size, or special handling requirements (such as lawnmowers and table saws), additional surcharges may apply, such as length freight or (mini-)pallet costs. These surcharges will be displayed separately during checkout.
  • For large/heavy orders to be shipped outside the Netherlands and Belgium, we will send an individual email with the relevant information and shipping costs. Please note: These orders will be shipped as a whole. Shipping costs may vary for the destination, and these will be requested from the carrier.

Change shipping address

Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to placed orders. The order must be canceled and placed again. Please contact our customer service for assistance.

Partial deliveries

For orders with multiple items that have different delivery times, partial deliveries may occur. It is not possible to specify a preference for this.
We generally make every effort to optimize the order and shipping process to minimize partial deliveries. > More information

Please note: When you order a SET, and part of the set has a longer delivery time, the available part of the set will be shipped to you first. It is not possible to specify a preference for this.


Not home at the scheduled delivery time?

In most cases, 2 to 3 delivery attempts will be made (depending on the carrier). If you are not home, the delivery driver will first try to drop off the package at a neighbor's house. If that is not possible, the package will be delivered to a pick-up point.

Please note: Each carrier has different procedures. Please read the information sent by the carrier carefully for specific details about your shipment.

*Toolnation never grants leave-to-drop permission to any carrier; this is an option you can choose directly with our carriers.


Pick up your order in our Showroom

As a customer, you have the option to choose 'Pick up' as the shipping method when completing your order. We will contact you by phone or email when your order is ready for pick-up. Please note that this option may involve additional delivery time.
