• Housing and pressure arm made of hardened stainless steel, The BAS tensioners are approx. 30 % smaller than comparable competitive models and deliver the same high clamping forces. Up to 16,000 N can be vertically transmitted to the clamping surface via the self-locking worm gear transmission.
• Push-arm variants with polyamide seal, For clamping sensitive surfaces with optimal weight distribution, the short and long push-arms of the BAS models are equipped with a pivoting aluminium pressure shoe. And for clamping in corners, the BSP types with pointed pressure arm offer a perfect starting point. A special polyamide seal protects the interior from soiling.
• Open or closed mounting bore, open bore models allow for faster engagement and removal. On the closed version, bolts, grooved nut and tensioner are connected as one unit.
• Space-saving and flexible, all models are distinguished by their low overall height and low space requirements. The clamping height can be increased in stages by 80 mm with the BESSEY BASO clamping base. When using more than one base, make sure that the workpiece is supported precisely.
