• The wood is thus aged artificially, as it were, because mechanical processing significantly accelerates the natural weathering effect.
• This effect can be further enhanced by a subsequent surface treatment, e.g. with wax stain.
• Brushed wood surfaces are used, among other things, in the manufacture of rustic furniture, the furnishing of rustic cafes and restaurants (wall and ceiling cladding) or for beams.
