The Euroboor HSS Cobalt core drill bit is made of High Speed Steel with cobalt. The HSS Cobalt core drill is specially designed to stay cool when drilling a hole. All grooves are fully ground, resulting in super fast feed rates and smooth holes in hard materials, for better chip removal and better cutting performance. HSS-Cobalt core drills are widely used in the metalworking industry because of their superior hardness compared to more conventional High Speed Steels. The higher cutting speeds lead to shorter cycle times in production.
