HiKOKI''s SDS-Max 4-cut hammer drills are robust, designed for the demanding end user. Thus, it uses the same symmetrical 4-course spiral and the outstanding carbide plate with high-yield cutting edges. In this series of drills, the carbide insert is no longer cross-shaped, but the 4-cutter is formed by a main plate with two carbide side plates at a 90° angle. The unique design of the drill tip prevents jamming of the drill bit when rebar is struck. An additional advantage of the carbide plates is the built-in wear marking, which allows the drill bit to be changed in a timely manner. This ensures constant and reliable tolerances of the drilled hole, ultimately enabling a perfect fit of the anchorage.
