After the overwhelmingly successful development of the SDS-Plus 4-cutter up to Ø 16 mm, the larger size SDS-Plus drill bits have also been further developed. In the process, the basic technical specifications of the design of the smaller sizes have been applied, which have proven to be extremely suitable for intensive users. The same symmetrical 4-pass spiral and the excellent carbide plate with high-yield cutting edges are used. In this series of drills, the carbide insert is no longer cross-shaped, but the 4-cut is formed by a main plate with two carbide side plates at a 90° angle.
