Warranty Conditions of HiKOKI and Toolnation

Are you purchasing a HiKOKI device through Toolnation? Then you benefit from extensive warranty conditions on many machines, batteries and chargers. In addition to the statutory warranty for consumers (2 years in the Netherlands), HiKOKI offers a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty on many products. In most cases, registration is no longer required, as long as the proof of purchase clearly shows the model and serial number. This proof is required for any warranty claim. If the serial number is missing from your receipt or invoice, online registration with HiKOKI is still necessary in order to receive the manufacturer’s warranty.

Toolnation extends the manufacturer’s warranty by 2 additional years, provided the product is correctly registered via HiKOKI within 30 days of purchase. Without timely registration, this additional Toolnation warranty expires.

For HiKOKI Brushless AC machines, the following also applies: if registered within 4 weeks, you will receive 2 extra years of warranty on motor components. This brings the total warranty period for those parts to a maximum of 5 years.

What does the HiKOKI warranty cover?

3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on HiKOKI Power Tools

• Valid for machines, batteries, and chargers
• Duration: 3 years from the date of purchase
• Model and serial number must be visible on the proof of purchase
• Registration is only required if the serial number is missing

Note: If the serial number is missing from your proof of purchase, online registration is still mandatory.

+2 Additional Years of Warranty on Brushless AC Motor Components

• Applies specifically to HiKOKI Brushless AC products
• Total warranty period: up to 5 years on motor components
• Only valid if registered within 4 weeks after purchase

What does the additional 2-Year Toolnation Warranty include?

If the product is correctly registered with HiKOKI within 30 days of purchase, Toolnation will extend the warranty period by an additional 2 years. This extension applies only to purchases made from Toolnation from 1 September 2018 onwards, and only if the product is not excluded by the manufacturer.

Important Notes:

• The 3-year HiKOKI warranty only requires registration if the serial number is missing from the proof of purchase.
• For Brushless AC products: registration within 4 weeks is mandatory for the +2-year motor warranty, even if the serial number is listed on the receipt.
• The additional Toolnation warranty always requires registration within 30 days of purchase. Each product must be registered individually.
• The Toolnation warranty does not apply to pressure washers, petrol-powered tools, or pneumatic tools.
• In case of a warranty claim, you must provide both the original proof of purchase and the HiKOKI warranty certificate.
