Special Features.

• Core drills made of High Speed Steel (HSS) for drilling into various metals.
• The core drills have a standard Weldon connection and are intended for use in a core drilling machine (HB500)
• It is important to drill at the correct RPM.
• This ensures longer drill life and speeds up the drilling process.
• You can tell whether the RPM is correct from the chipping/waste material (metal chips).
• The chipping should be in the form of long strands.
• Do you see short small waste pieces? Then the RPM is too high or too low.
• Then the machining is not optimal and the RPM should be adjusted.
• The drills are pre-treated with oil to prevent rusting during transport and storage.
  Please note that these drills should always be used in combination with cutting oil. There is a cutting oil feed on the magnetic core drill (HB500). This extends the life of the core drills and of the (magnetic) drilling machine.
