• You can tell if the RPM is correct by looking at the chipping/waste material (metal shavings)
• The chipping should be in the form of long strings
• Do you see short small waste pieces? Then the rpm is too high or too low
• The machining is then not optimal and the speed has to be adjusted
• The drills are pre-treated with oil to prevent them from rusting during transport and storage.
• Note: these drills must always be used in combination with cutting oil. The magnetic drilling machine (HB500) has a cutting oil supply. This extends the life of the core drill and the (magnetic) drilling machine
