Description

• Tooth material - Type Matrix II premium high-speed steel is used for the tooth portion of the hole saw
• Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, allowing the teeth to retain their original hardness even at high working temperatures when used in metal cutting applications. - Bi-metal construction - High-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to a body of high-alloy steel
• The teeth are then vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at a temperature of 600°C for maximum durability and service life. - The high wear resistance of the Matrix II material makes these hole saws ideal for cutting difficult and hard materials such as stainless steel and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials such as wood.
• Body hole saw - The 1.27 mm thick steel body of the hole saw is rigid enough to keep its shape, but of course also has enough built-in elasticity.
• Advanced technology for maximum productivity.
• Tooth design - A tooth design with 3.5 teeth per inch and a positive tooth angle of 10° offers the following advantages: - Faster and more aggressive cut. - Improved heat dissipation during cutting ensures the teeth stay sharp longer. - Deeper curved chip spaces provide more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heat build-up. - The specially shaped tooth angle has less tendency to snag on thinner materials. - The teeth are altenate side set to minimize binding and friction. - Requires less feed pressure - This is achieved through the combination of an aggressive tooth geometry and good chip removal, requiring less force during drilling.

• This ensures shape retention even after intensive use. - Perfectly produced round bottom plates, important for large diameter hole saws.
