Description
Ridgid 17881 Model 258 Electric Pipe Cutter with Model 700 Electric Drive 115 V
The RIDGID® Model 258 electric pipe cutter cuts steel pipe, galvanized pipe, rigid pipe, etc. from 2 1⁄2" (65 mm) to 8" (200 mm) with wall thicknesses from 0.15" (3.8 mm) to 0.4" (10 mm) on job site or in the workshop. Powered by the RIDGID 700 electric drive, the 258 is a displacement principle pipe cutter that produces angled cuts. The operator controls the cutting speed by pumping on the hydraulic foot pump during the operation. An angled cut with minimal burr formation at 21 ft (6 m) or nipple length of pipe is quickly achieved** without grinding dust, sparks or open flame. In addition, the RIDGID pipe beveling support can be used to rotate the pipe while a second person uses a grinder to bevel the pipe.Special features
