Model 1224 cuts a wide range of pipes, including black, galvanized and plastic-coated pipes as well as stainless steel, IMC and conduit pipes with large wall thickness, as well as rods up to 30 Rockwell C.

Special features

• An induction motor helps minimize noise.
• A special motor with capacitor for starting/capacitor for turning allows the 1224 to cut a wide range of materials where a voltage drop occurs.
• 1/4"-2" universal cutting head; 2 1/2"-4" receding cutting head for cutting tapered or straight NPT/NPSM or BSPT/BSPP threads.
• Constant and correct lubrication of cutting pads and workpiece via cooling oil lubrication system through the head.

• Motor control: reverse/off/forward, heavyduty dial and integral foot switch.
