The 975 Combination Roller Grooving Machine is two tools in one. Like other RIDGID® roll grooving machines, the 975 can be mounted on the RIDGID 300 with electric drive for machine-driven roll grooving. It is also designed for manual roller grooving on already laid pipes.

Special features.

• Automatic guidance and depth adjustment system for greater ease of use - The 975 Combination Roller Grower features new, patented automatic guidance technology for significantly easier grooving. Whether you're doing machine-driven or manual roller grooving jobs, the AutoTracking caliper automatically keeps the pipe clamped in the roller groove during the entire roller grooving process. The 975 also features a permanent depth adjustment system for fast, repeatable adjustment.
• Reduced hand force required - During the manual roller grooving process, the 975's 55% higher gear retardation reduces hand force compared to manually operated roller groomers. This is particularly useful for overhead grooving jobs.
• Durability and mobility - Thanks to tough, ductile cast iron construction, the 975 can take a beating on the job site, making accurate grooves time after time. A molded handle makes the 975 easily portable to and from the job site.

• Capacity: Steel, aluminum, and PVC pipe from 1 ¼" - 6", schedule 10 and schedule 40.
• Stainless steel pipe from 1 1/4" - 6" schedule 10, 1 1/4" - 2" schedule 40 and PVC pipe from 1 1/2" - 3" schedule 80.
• With roller groove set for copper pipe 2" - 8" (type K, L, M, and DWV).
• Depth adjustment: Set screw and integrated depth adjustment system.
• Drive: Feed screw with 1/2" ratchet wrench (supplied) or any 15/16" hex wrench.
• Attachment for electric drive: RIDGID 300 with electric drive 38/57 TPM (reverse direction only).
