• The DRYGRES PREMIUM range of diamond drills is perfect for drilling all types of tiles, especially porcellanato, and other stony types such as marble and granite.
• RUBI has used the VACUUM BRAZED technology of vacuum brazing in the DRYGRES PREMIUM series drills, which resist higher temperatures through friction. This results in a higher tool life of the diamond drill bits.
• DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drill bits, with diameters Ø 6 to 12 mm, are perfect for fixing bathroom accessories or any type of decorative accessory on tiled surfaces. The other diameters of the DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drill bit range, from Ø 20 to 85 mm, are designed primarily to offer the tiler the best results when drilling sockets, pipes, drains, lights, etc.
• DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drills are dry ground and, thanks to their M14 threaded connection, can be used directly on an angle grinder or via an adapter (ref. 05976) on a drilling machine - without a tapping function.
• The average life of DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drills varies according to diameter: those from Ø 6 to 12 mm have an average life of 60 holes and for drills from Ø 20 to 85 mm it is 150 holes.
• The average life of the drills ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness and proper cooling and use.
• The drilling depth of DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drills is 30 mm for drills from Ø 6 to 35 mm and 38 mm for drills from Ø 43 to 85 mm.
• In the diameters Ø 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, the PREMIUM DRYGRES contain wax inside. This wax melts during use of the drill bit and facilitates cooling and evacuation of the drill cuttings (If the wax runs out, the drill bit can simply continue to be used. Only the total loss of the diamond indicates the end of the life of the drill bit).
• The DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drills (diameters Ø 20 to 85 mm) have a side opening that improves the cooling of the drill bit and makes it easier for us to remove the drill core after each drill hole. Before drilling a new hole, we must make sure that the drill bit is clean. Drills from Ø 43 mm are segmented to improve stability during drilling.
• The maximum operating speed for DRYGRES PREMIUM diamond drill bits is 14,000 rpm.
• For a better finish and longer life of the drill bit, it is important to respect the correct RPM and use a slight pendulum motion while drilling.
