Special Features

• Non-contact measurement on cables that are close together is easy and safe with the current clamp Testo 770-3. Its innovative gripping mechanism enables easy work. As the top model in the current clamp family, it offers numerous additional functions for your everyday challenges, for example linking to the Testo Smart App and other Testo measuring instruments. Due to its higher resolution, the current clamp also delivers highly accurate results in the low current range.
• The testo 770-3 current clamp is the ideal tong ammeter for difficult measurement tasks in environments with limited space. The movable forceps leg can be fully inserted into the instrument. This allows the instrument to precisely grasp closely spaced conductors.
• Thanks to the improved resolution, highly accurate results are obtained even in the low current range. In addition, the voltage measurement range of the testo 770-3 has been extended to 1000 V.
• Furthermore, specific applications such as measurement of starting current, power and μA are also possible with the current clamp. With the optionally available temperature adapter for thermocouple probes, not only electrical parameters but also temperatures can be measured (matching type K thermocouple probe to be ordered separately).
• The tangent ammeter automatically recognizes and selects AC/DC and other parameters such as resistance, continuity, diode and capacitance. This makes operation easier and safer than ever.
• The measured values can be clearly displayed on the two lines of the current clamp's display and in the testo Smart App. Via bluetooth, the testo 770-3 can be connected simply and quickly to the testo Smart App and to other measuring instruments from Testo. In the app, you can view the measurement course on your smartphone/tablet as a graph and save and send measured values immediately as a report.
