• With the Tormek T-4, you have at your disposal a high-quality machine that is ideal for home and hobbyists. The machine gives you access to the extensive Tormek system of sharpening jigs and can sharpen practically all common sharp tools
• The Tormek T-4 is an upgrade from the T-3 model, taking precision and stability to the next level. Crucial functions such as the motor and shaft are fitted in the top made of cast zinc. It also features integrated sleeves for universal support. This advanced design ensures unsurpassed precision for the universal support, which is used for all grinding jigs and accessories
• Like the larger models, the T-4 features the original Tormek grinding stone. This stone combines efficient steel removal, smooth surface finish and long life. The included gradation stone allows you to change the surface of the grinding stone from a 220 grit to a 1000 grit surface, giving you two grinding options in one stone
• The T-4 is great for sharpening chisels, knives, scissors and other small tools such as wood cutting tools. This machine can also be used for turning tools and drill bits, but for planing irons and profile knives, we recommend one of the larger Tormek machines. Please note that some models of gouges cannot be etched with the SVD-186 due to the compact shape of the T-4. These gouges can be sharpened by hand.
• The motor can be used continuously for up to 30 minutes each time. This is usually more than sufficient for domestic use, but if you have more grinding work, we recommend that you also look at the larger Tormek machines, which can run continuously
• The Tormek T-4 comes with the SP-650 gradation stone, the WM-200 angle setting jig, PA-70 wet paste, the EM-15 edge marker to color the bevel when setting the cutting angle and the Tormek manual on grinding.
