• Weber MT has a new vibratory plate in its program: the tile vibrator VPR 700, specially designed for the preparation of large format tiles or sensitive surfaces
• Increasingly larger tiles are being used in landscaping
• XXL formats may shift or suffer damage to the corners and edges
• Leading manufacturers of large concrete and granite tiles therefore often recommend the use of vibrating plates with rollers
• Large concrete slabs with a special finish are not vibrated with vibrating plates, but are manually driven into the bed by an employee with a rubber hammer
• On larger surfaces, the Weber mt VPR 700 vibratory plate with rollers is an excellent alternative for this job!

Please note the following when using:

• Always observe the manufacturer''s instructions for laying concrete slabs!
• This mainly concerns the foundation and frost protection as well as the bedding of gravel or sand in the correct grain size
• The bedding should have a uniform thickness, to minimise the risk of the sheets breaking
• The vibrating plate with rollers is ideally 10 cm wider than the short side of the concrete slab
• For rectangular concrete slabs, the short side of the concrete slab should be driven over first
• The vibrating plate with rollers must be placed in the walking direction on the plates before starting
• Concrete slabs with a curve or which are slightly concave should not be compacted with the vibrating plate with rollers
• These slabs cannot be vibrated with the desired uniformity
• Large, heavy slabs (>approx. 120 kg/m²) may not be beaten into the ground with a vibrating plate with rollers
• The vibratory plate with rollers can be used here to raise the bedding material between the joints to create a better joint bond
• This effect also occurs when smaller and lighter boards are shrunk
