The MetalliScanner™ MT 7 electronic metal detector quickly and easily locates rebar, pipes and other metal before cutting or drilling. The bright, backlit display indicates the depth of the metal (in both inches and cm) to a depth of 15 cm, the type of metal located (Ferrous or Non Ferrous) and whether you are moving toward or away from the metal. This powerful device saves time and money by preventing guesswork, repairs, unnecessary holes and costly broken drills or saw blades. The MT 7 helps to locate concrete iron mat and other pipes in non-metallic structures, such as concrete, tile and marble. Other recommended uses include locating rebar in masonry, measuring distances between nails in a roof to meet building codes, and even locating nails or staples in beams behind drywall and plaster walls.
