Electronically controlled 8 kilogram 45 mm SDS-Max combi hammer with a power of 1350 Watts. Equipped with Smart Impact Technology and Torque Limiter.
By using high-quality and much lighter components than usual in the percussion mechanism, Makita has succeeded in spectacularly improving the percussion power of combi and demolition hammers. Drilling is in fact repeatedly striking with a rotating chisel. With the conventional percussion method, all blows fall in the same place during each 360º revolution. With the new generation of Makita combi and demolition hammers with Smart Impact Technology, each impact strikes a different place during each revolution. The result? A drastic shortening of the drilling time, allowing to drill up to 50 boreholes or more in the same time!
