Trotec 3510205014 BZ25 CO2 air quality monitor

Description

We spend more than 90% of our lives indoors, and increasingly dense building structures make it harder for pollutants to escape, which has a noticeable impact on air quality.

  • Elevated concentrations of carbon dioxide - even if within allowable limits - can lead not only to fatigue, poor concentration or loss of performance, but also to serious health problems, especially in children or debilitated people.
  • With the BZ25, indoor air quality can be reliably monitored and, similar to a CO2 traffic light, help remind to ventilate.
  • Thanks to the accurate and long-term stable NDIR measurement method, the BZ25 records not only the air temperature and relative humidity but also the current carbon dioxide concentration in the room air and displays it in 1 ppm increments on the easy-to-read display.
  • In addition, an individual CO alarm limit value can be defined, which is indicated by an audible warning signal.

A practical additional feature of the BZ25 is the CO indicator display with a simple symbolic display of good, normal or bad carbon dioxide concentration in the room air on the large LCD display, which also shows the date and time.

Automatic baseline calibration

  • Today''s expected CO2 value for fresh air is around 400 ppm (0.04% vol)
  • This is accepted by the device as the lowest limit value (baseline).
  • A special algorithm now continuously monitors the sensor''s lowest determined CO2 value over a period of several days during a preconfigured time interval and slowly corrects any long-term drift detected compared to the expected fresh air value of 400 ppm (or 0.04 % vol) CO2
  • In normal indoor applications, carbon dioxide levels drop to near outside air levels sometime over the course of a week
  • By recording the values over an 8-day period and then comparing the lowest value to the 400ppm point, the meter knows whether to adjust to zero or not
  • This happens completely automatically
  • Thus, the algorithm takes advantage of the fact that CO2 levels in buildings/rooms regularly stabilize at a minimum during a certain period when they are not occupied.
  • In rooms that are permanently occupied or where there is a constantly elevated CO2 concentration (e.g.
  • B
  • greenhouses), this principle of automatic tuning does not work.

Benefits in practice

  • Accurate and long-term stable NDIR measurement of carbon dioxide concentrations in indoor air
  • Simultaneous display of CO values, room temperature, humidity, date and time
  • Minimum and maximum value function for CO?, air temperature and humidity
  • Carbon dioxide alarm function with warning tone for freely definable limit values
  • Additional symbolic CO indicator display similar to a CO2 traffic light
  • Large backlit display with easy-to-read readings
  • For table setting or wall mounting
  • Optimal price-performance ratio
